One of the most important attributes you want to convey to your customers is credibility. They’re not going to buy from you, or even stay on your website very long, if they don’t trust what you’re saying.

When it comes to website content, research has shown that poor spelling and grammar damages your credibility and can even reduce conversions.

A study by UK company Global Lingo found that 59% of customers would not use a company with obvious spelling and grammatical mistakes on its website. 

Tightsplease.co.uk spelt the word “tights” wrong on their tights category page. Once corrected, their page conversions increased by 80%.
